Power Poses 

The Controversy: Does changing how you use your body change the way you feel?

The effect of power poses described in this 2012 TED talk video have been hotly debated. An American Psychological Association journal article weighed in 10 years later to describe the attempts to replicate the original results, and research since. The authors conclude the findings "suggest that body positions can be useful for training, coaching, and therapy."
